About the author: Jose Valencia was born in San Jose, California, in 1989. Born into a rough childhood and a neighborhood filled with burglary, theft, and gang violence. One of the only distraction of the hardships in life, has always been in the artistic expression of photography and creating visual connections between people, and their surroundings.
